DSRC Board of Directors Nomination Form

                    

Please consider nominating yourself or a colleague for a Board position.  This is a really great way to become involved with your professional organization.  Please complete the nomination form and either submit online, mail it or fax it back to the Nomination Committee Chairperson by August 31st.  The address and fax number are listed on the nomination form

Open Positions

President Elect- this is a two-year position in which the elected person will assume the responsibilities of the President in the event of their absence.  The person in this position will succeed the President when their two-year term is complete.  Planning of the yearly professional conference is also included with this position

Treasurer-  This is a two year position in which the elected person will account for the moneys of the society and disburse the funds under the direction of the President in accordance with the approved budget.  The elected person is responsible for the continuing record of all income and submission of a quarterly report to the Board of Directors.  A yearly report is also prepared for the Board and general membership. 

Secretary- this is a two-year term in which the elected person is responsible for the recording of the minutes of the proceedings of all meetings of the society.  This is a great way to get involved and see how the Board functions.

Delegate- one available position, which is a two-year term.  The elected person serves as a representative of the Society at the AARC House of Delegates meetings.  This person needs to attend all meetings of the AARC’s House of Delegates, but this is a shared position between two people.  Attend the annual business meeting of the Society and the AARC.  This person also serves on the Society Membership Committee.

Directors at Large- One position for each of the Counties in Delaware (New Castle, Kent and Sussex).  The elected people serve as representatives of their respective county on the DSRC Board.  This is to ensure that the needs and concerns throughout the state are being addressed and met to satisfaction.

Please nominate as many people as you like for each position.  An individual can only be nominated for one position.  Keep in mind the nominees need to be AARC members.
